We are looking to add a dynamic PRN Patient Account Representative to join our Business Office team. The Patient Account Representative is responsible for submitting electronic and manual billings, account statements, and for follow-up with third-party payers and patients for outstanding balances. This position is also responsible for the preparation of daily cash receipts and maintenance of insurance logs, providing data processing services for the facility which may include entering receivables, report preparation, printing data entered into the system, selecting and printing bills and posting charge sheets. In addition, this position is responsible for accurate processing of all accounts receivables functions for the facility.
PRN Position: 3:30pm-9:00pm
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Accountable for creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organization’s mission, vision and values
Identifies claims or process issues and communicates to Business Office Lead timely
Posts charges, payments, and adjustments for assigned patient accounts
Demonstrates skills in collection account practices and troubleshooting problems for quicker processing times and resolution

Qualifications Education/Training Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Training in billing preferred.
Licensure/Certification Current Tennessee Driver’s License
Experience Collections and billing experience required, medical billing preferred.
