Position Overview Your role, as a Sony Brand Ambassador, is to be the face of the brand to our customers. You will be required to have knowledge about all things Sony and be able to articulate that knowledge in a way that turns visitors into loyal Sony fans. Whether discussing the latest product innovations, demonstrating our PlayStation gaming and technology portfolio, or highlighting an emerging Sony Music artist, your goal will be to drive forward the power of entertainment that is our legacy.

We are seeking candidates that are passionate, enthusiastic, cheerful and willing to learn. Effective communication and presentation skills are essential in order to capture the attention of an individual or audience while showcasing key features and benefits of our products and services. You should be able to deliver an exceptional and memorable experience by recommending product and service solutions to fit their lifestyle needs. You will be required to engage with consumers during planned events and through general foot traffic into this location. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all Sony products and services are merchandised according to plan and functioning properly.

Requirements

Ability to present yourself professionally in any setting and dress according to the outlined requirements of the job

Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Up to speed with the latest trends of NYC or the world, not limited to technology, innovation, entertainment, but other industries (e.g. fashion, food, culture, others)

Positive thinking and enthusiastic to challenge new things

Bilingual a plus

Bachelor's degree preferred

Consumer electronics retail experience is preferred

Must have the proven ability to focus on customer service and to drive desired business results

Must be able to stand/walk for extended period of times, climb a ladder (up to 20 feet), and lift 50 pounds, all with or without reasonable accommodation

The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends is a must

Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA
