Are you tired of just being a faceless cog in a big machine? Do you want to join a close-knit group of 34 ED imagers with the ability to consult colleagues at a button push. The Department of Radiology at NYU Langone Health is looking for candidates to join our ED imaging section.
Worked environment Our radiologists use a state-of-the-art Visage PACs system, have 24/7 access to a home grown online concierge service to help facilitate communication with referring physicians and work with our stellar residents. We have implemented a distribution system which allows us to ensure a balanced workload and are continually innovating with AI techniques to help improve workflow for our radiologists. We have board certified neuro trained and body trained ED rads at all times who can be consulted. Our ED group has regularly scheduled peer learning meetings and sectional meetings to discuss interesting cases and discuss workflow improvement.
System The NYU Langone Health system is acknowledged as one of the best in the world and boasts three dedicated stroke and level 1 trauma centers spanning the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island. The system includes Bellevue Medical Center, the jewel of the Health and Hospitals Corporation and one of the finest trauma centers in the country.
Remote positions We have fully remote positions for both evening (4PM-Midnight and 6PM-2AM) and overnight (11PM- 8AM) work. Our radiologists work on advanced PACS systems operated by an unparalleled IT department that has allowed us to successfully employ radiologists on both coasts of the United States including sites as remote as Hawaii.
Job fit These positions are perfect for radiologists who don't want to pick up and move location and like working in a fast paced, exciting environment doing high quality ED work on a desirable schedule.
Salary Salary ranges between $400,000 - $550,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. NYU offers a generous benefits package.
Qualifications Qualified applicants must be board certified or ABR eligible.
