Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled French Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating written and spoken material from French to English and vice versa. The French Translator will ensure accuracy and maintain the original meaning of the content while translating.
Qualifications
Fluency in French and English languages.
Proven experience as a translator or similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in translation software and tools.
Bachelor's degree in French, Translation, Linguistics, or related field.
Responsibilities
Translate a variety of documents including reports, articles, correspondence, and other written material from French to English and vice versa.
Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy.
Work closely with internal teams to understand translation requirements and maintain consistency in terminology.
Conduct research to ensure the correct translation of industry-specific terms.
Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintain confidentiality of all translated information.
