Famous Footwear Sales Lead , you are passionate about providing the best shoe store experience for every customer. You create a welcoming environment and in‑store culture where customers say “I’ll take it” and loyalty to your store, our brands, and our company is built. You love taking on additional responsibilities, take pride in execution, and are a team player celebrating individual and team successes. You stay informed about trends and share that knowledge with the store team and customers, building engaging customer experiences. Most importantly, you LOVE shoes and help every person who enters the store feel a little bit of that Famous Feeling.

What You’ll Be Doing

Inspire that Famous Feeling: Walk into the store ready to inspire teammates with your integrity and drive and foster a culture of caring and camaraderie. Raise your hand to help infuse coaching moments for the selling behaviors behind our Customer Connection.

Ace Retail Operations: Know the ins-and-outs of your store and keep it running smoothly—from pricing to inventory, opening and closing, keeping it clean, organized, and all our famous styles easily shoppable.

Connect the Dots: Keep high standards by sticking to company policies and using fellow partners and resources to accomplish tasks like a champ.

Preferred Qualifications & Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Proficient knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.

Some retail store management or relevant management experience.

Experience motivating a team to accomplish a goal.

Management of multiple tasks and communication of direction set by the store manager.

Ability to mentor and train Associates on selling and operational processes.

Flexible schedule to meet availability requirements, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements And/or Environment

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height safely.

Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and lift repetitively.

Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.

Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.

Team player energy and enthusiasm to encourage fellow associates.

Manage multiple tasks with a positive attitude and communicate the game plan set by the store manager.

Mentor and train associates on selling and operational processes.

Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
