Sous Chef – Merrill Gardens, Campbell
We are looking for a passionate, compassionate Sous Chef to support our senior residents at Merrill Gardens at Campbell. This role requires dedication to senior wellness and commitment to providing a dignified, individualistic atmosphere.
Base Pay Range $27.00/hr - $37.80/hr
Overview This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of senior residents and their families. As part of our team, you will help ensure high-quality, fresh meals served daily and maintain a welcoming, supportive kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality food preparation.
Experience in scratch cooking in a high volume, fine dining setting.
Maintains documentation of all temperature charts and records.
In absence of the Executive Chef, oversees and directs all dining service Team Members assigned during a shift.
Accurately completes all food production records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Prepares food items following proper procedures specified by Executive Chef.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality food preparation.
Experience in scratch cooking in a high volume, fine dining setting.
Proficiency in computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, etc.
Culinary training, certification or degree in culinary preferred.
