Position Description Immediately hiring a dedicated solo Class A CDL Driver in Valencia, CA. We want the right employee to drive with us at Ryder. For more info, call Kimberly or text “Valencia” to 904‑618‑3474.
Pay & Benefits
Weekly pay: $1,540 or more
Hourly rate: $28.00 per hour
Hours per week: 40‑50
Paid training
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM
Paid personal time off starts day 1 (80 hours accrued in first year)
Medical, dental, vision start at 30 days
12 weeks paid maternity leave (eligible only)
Immediate 401(k) rollover and company match after one year
Uniform and boot allowance provided

Route & Vehicle
Route: Local Home Daily, SOLO to Southern CA
Tractor type: Day Cab
Trailer type: Pup Trailer 28', Straight Trucks 26'
Equipment: Hand truck, J‑bar, door hand truck, liftgate – Ryder will train you
Freight: Touch – glass doors and mirrors
Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder drug test
Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check covering the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide an appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Class A experience: 9 months within past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
Maintain accurate records and logs
Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading if required by customer
Perform other duties as assigned
