A Career that Empowers You to Build Your Future The New Home Consultant at Lennar is responsible for managing the new home purchase process from initial customer contact to closing, aiming to create a “tickled, delighted, and happy” customer. This includes daily operations at Welcome Home Centers, processing sale agreements, and closing sales in line with company business plans.
Your Role on the Team
Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home buying needs, utilizing the company's selling philosophy.
Self-generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, including products, community features, and demographics.
Provide consistent follow‑through with customers from initial contact to post‑closing, maintaining accurate communication records.
Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs.
Ensure the maintenance of Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes.
Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks.
Your Toolbox
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred.
1–2 years of experience in homebuilding or real estate sales preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools.
Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. This is primarily an active position, involving office/phone work and walking in all weather conditions, on uneven surfaces to and within homesites. Must have a valid state driver’s license, be able to take customers throughout the neighborhood and community, visit realtor offices, and attend various meetings in the process of self‑generating sales. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard and telephone equipment. Must be able to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 25 pounds.
