About the Role The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support to both the sales team and customers, ensuring a seamless sales process from initial inquiry to order fulfillment. This role requires strong skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, proficient with business systems and software, and solution‑oriented while supporting the goals of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers and the sales team with orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Create and distribute quotes to customers and sales representatives.

Log all orders, quotes, and sales activity in Salesforce to maintain accurate records.

Provide resources and materials to customers, rep groups, and the sales team.

Take initiative to promptly and professionally resolve customer issues.

Administer all sales contracts, including state and national agreements.

Monitor marketing materials, swatches, and office supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.

Assist in prospecting for new customers and opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Proactive problem‑solving skills and flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.

Positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new business systems.
