Position Summary The Senior Commercial Analyst - Demand Generation & Sales Performance is a key member of the Commercial Strategy & Operations team, responsible for uncovering insights that drive growth across the NCSA and IMG Academy+ businesses. This role focuses on analyzing the full customer funnel, from awareness and acquisition to conversion and retention, to identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and lifetime value. This position partners closely with marketing, sales, commercial technology, product, and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights that shape go-to-market strategies, optimize commercial performance, and strengthen the connection between the recruiting and training ecosystems.

Position Responsibilities Funnel Performance & Conversion Analysis

Lead end-to-end funnel analysis across marketing, sales, and product touchpoints to identify performance trends and conversion gaps.

Map customer journeys for both prospective and current families, highlighting key drop-off points and engagement drivers.

Evaluate lead quality, channel efficiency, and conversion rates across key customer segments and programs.

Partner with marketing and sales to implement data-backed optimizations that improve ROI and customer experience.

Business Performance & Insights

Develop dashboards and reports to monitor commercial KPIs across both NCSA and IMG Academy+ businesses.

Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews that inform strategic decision-making.

Forecasting & Strategic Planning

Support revenue and conversion forecasting models across business lines.

Analyze historical and-time data to predict trends and evaluate new initiatives.

Contribute insights to strategic planning, performance reviews, and growth initiatives.

Segment customer audiences to understand behaviors, motivations, and lifetime value drivers.

Assess the impact of marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and content engagement on the recruiting and camp pipelines.

Monitor industry and competitor benchmarks to inform positioning and go-to-market decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Data Science teams to align on KPIs and performance drivers.

Present findings and recommendations to executives in clear, story-driven presentations.

Help build a culture of data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field.

4–6 years of experience in business analytics, marketing analytics, or commercial strategy (preferably in sports, education, or consumer services).

Expertise in funnel and performance analysis, including conversion tracking and attribution modeling.

Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).

Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets and SQL; familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms (Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, etc.).

Excellent storytelling and presentation skills — able to translate complex data into actionable insight with recommendations.

Preferred specific experience with Demand Generation processes for a large lead database, short sales cycle, small average sales price sales motion executed by a large inside sales team.

Preferred experience with lead-to-revenue lifecycle analysis in a multi-product or multi-channel business.

Preferred background in subscription, membership, or education-based service models.

Preferred understanding of the youth sports or collegiate recruiting landscape.

Analytical, curious, and deeply performance-driven.

Comfortable managing large data sets and ambiguous problems.

Collaborative communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments.

Passionate about using data to support student-athlete success.
