Home Sales Inspector (Project Management)
As an Orkin Home Sales Inspector, you will deliver top‑quality termite protection services to homeowners, leveraging the trust of an iconic brand with almost 125 years of industry experience and award‑winning training. No prior industry experience is required – Orkin’s training program provides all the tools and support to succeed.
In this role you will combine sales, inspections and customer service, building long‑term relationships while protecting homes and families from pests.
Responsibilities You will be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers. By performing 360‑degree inspections from attics to crawl‑spaces and everything in between, you will solve problems and build trusted relationships. Adept at listening to needs and clearly explaining practical solutions, you can win over customers with confidence and care.
Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
Serve as an empathetic problem‑solver, using in‑depth training to recommend the best innovative pest solution
Achieve goals through prospecting new business and handling assigned leads – Orkin provides a robust advertising budget to support you
Schedule and conduct sales appointments, explaining how Orkin’s products and services give customers peace of mind
Inspect the interior and exterior of customers’ homes – training is provided
Make recommendations based on inspection findings, addressing questions, explaining the process and setting expectations
Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and stay organized – training will be given

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
No prior experience required
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to obtain appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients
Work Environment
Use ladders safely within manufacturer weight capacities
Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops – ability to climb, kneel, crouch or crawl
Wear personal protective equipment, including OSHA‑compliant respirator if required
Work in various weather conditions
