As a Sales Consultant in your local store, you will use your retail experience and passion for helping people to deliver outstanding assisted sales and customer service. You will receive full training and ongoing support in our product range and sales approach. This role offers opportunities to develop your sales skills, earn uncapped commission, and be part of a friendly, high-performing store team.

Main Responsibilities for Sales Consultant Roles

Provide friendly, professional advice to customers on products, features and benefits

Deliver assisted sales by assessing customers’ needs and recommending suitable solutions

Build strong customer relationships through attentive service and effective communication

Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive engagement and closing techniques

Process transactions accurately using the till system and complete required sales documentation

Maintain store presentation to company standards including merchandising and visual displays

Support aftercare and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

Work flexibly to cover peak trading times including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues

Adhere to company policies and procedures including health and safety and loss prevention

Sales Consultant Skills and Experience Required

Proven retail experience with a background in assisted sales or customer-facing roles

Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to help customers find the right solution

Excellent communication skills; able to listen, advise and build rapport quickly

Demonstrable ability to identify sales opportunities and work towards targets in a resilient manner

Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and basic IT

Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light manual handling tasks

Flexible approach to working hours to meet store needs and peak trading patterns
