Description Position Overview Flossmoor Social is seeking a dedicated
Server Assistant / Hospitality Runner
to support our Front-of-House team and uphold the elevated, community-driven experience our guests have come to expect. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth service flow, exceptional cleanliness, and attentive hospitality throughout the restaurant.
The ideal candidate is guest-focused, proactive, presentable, and thrives in a fast-paced, semi-fine dining environment.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Guest Service Support
Provide attentive
water service , ensuring all tables are properly set, filled, and refreshed throughout the guest experience.
Assist servers and bartenders during peak periods to maintain seamless service delivery.
Help deliver food and beverage items when needed, using proper steps of service and safety standards.
Dining Room & Table Maintenance
Bus and reset tables
quickly and accurately, following Flossmoor Social’s service standards and aesthetic.
Maintain a spotless dining environment, including clearing plates, glassware, and debris from tables and surrounding areas.
Monitor the flow of the dining room and support the host and servers to keep the floor moving efficiently.
Polishing & Stocking
Polish glassware, flatware, and plates
to ensure pristine presentation before each shift.
Restock server stations with necessary supplies (napkins, glassware, silverware, etc.).Ensure all items are organized, clean, and ready to support rapid service.
Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, bartenders, and management to anticipate and respond to guest and operational needs.
Uphold all sanitation, safety, and cleanliness protocols as part of our commitment to top-tier hospitality.
Support special events, brunch service, and high-volume weekends as needed.
Qualifications
Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to maintain poise in a busy environment.
A team-first mindset with a passion for service and learning.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.
Weekend availability is
required
(Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays).
Compensation $12
