Summary
Provides service to bank customers by conducting appropriate transactions and meeting the needs of customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform paying and receiving transactions satisfactorily and efficiently.
Meet teller balancing standards monthly as stated in the Teller Over & Short Policy.
Deliver excellent service to all customers.
Perform additional duties within the banking center as needed to help fellow co‑workers.
Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amount, and examine checks for endorsements.
Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issue computer‑generated receipts.
Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
Explain, promote, or sell products or services such as travelers checks, money orders, and cashier's checks.
Remove deposits from, and count and balance cash in, automated teller machines and night depository.
Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act; follow Red River Bank policies and procedures; attend or complete all required training.

Physical Demands Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Occasional standing and walking. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
