Job Overview The Leasing Agent is responsible for all aspects of the branch leasing department—including prospect management, application and screening processing, and market analysis—while remaining compliant with all local, state, and federal laws. This full‑time, office‑based role reports to the Branch Leasing Manager (or Senior Branch Leasing Manager) and requires an active real‑estate license. Working hours are
9:00 am – 6:00 pm
on
Thursday through Saturday , with occasional evening work during peak leasing season.
Responsibilities
Manage application processing and accurate data entry into the company’s CRM system.
Use daily/weekly reports to follow up on assigned applications.
Collect required documentation (rental history and income verification) before screening to ensure efficient qualification.
Screen applicants and request exceptions, supplying documentation as needed.
Publish and syndicate all assigned marketed homes to approved/required third‑party websites.
Conduct local travel to verify marketing path details—including cleanliness, signage, and presentation.
Meet weekly Service Level Agreements (SLAs) set by the Leasing Manager by managing applicants, leads, and prospects and applying sales tactics and efficiency.
Perform marketing path analysis and write CPR (Critical Property Reviews) for marketed homes in conjunction with Revenue Management.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Willingness to obtain a real‑estate license in the residing state or assigned within six months of employment.
Preferred: 1–2 years of property‑management experience.
Current and valid driver’s license.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and resident‑management systems.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment.
