Job Purpose:
The Hotel Ambassador assists guests with their overall guest experience. All team members at La Colombe d’Or will anticipate guests’ needs and assist throughout their stay as needed to ensure they enjoy a memorable experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for welcoming all guests entering La Colombe d’Or and escorting them to the appropriate area.
Be present on the lobby floor and warmly interact with all guests, using guest names, in public areas and while completing guest requests and tasks.
Speak to guests with clear, professional, and respectful language at all times.
Efficiently check-in and check-out guests, handle payments, apply credits, and accurately use the Property Management System.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and special arrangements with keen attention to detail, accurately, with care, and in a timely manner.
Take in-room dining calls and orders, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of food and beverage menus.
Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
Resolve customer complaints.
Assist customers with inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
Answer phone calls promptly to place reservations, promote, upsell hotel services, amenities, and packages.
Maintain the front of house clean and organized to reflect our luxury standards.
Uphold security and privacy standards to ensure guest safety and confidentiality.
Foster a friendly, professional, and luxury-oriented atmosphere for guests.
Have a full understanding of emergency procedures, safety, and critical thinking.
Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards immediately and in a timely manner.
Assist guests with restaurant reservations and seating arrangements.
Re-stock minibar in guest rooms.
