Responsibilities

Develop new business relationships with prospective customers and maintain continuous relationships with current customers.

Solicit new business from present and prospective customers.

Maintain ongoing business relationships with present customers to take advantage of additional cross‑selling opportunities.

Provide sales information on a timely basis for customer service and sales performance reports.

Monitor sales performance versus objectives and discuss performance with appropriate supervisor on a frequent basis.

Serve as a member of the bank’s sales team (e.g., Branch Manager) and make group sales calls to improve new business development opportunities.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of all bank commercial products and services to ascertain customer needs and sell accordingly.

Provide direct service to commercial customers with respect to deposit, loan, and other miscellaneous products and services.

Approve or reject loan applications within individual lending authority.

Assist customers in obtaining specialized services from other bank departments and provide help with specific inquiries or service problems.

Maintain knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures which impact commercial services.

Prepare and maintain accurate records of all customer service calls and meetings with present and prospective customers.

Provide quality service to internal and external customers.

Demonstrate cooperative efforts in working with other departments and within own department.

Jointly establish annual quantitative customer service and sales objectives with assigned supervisor.

Comply with established operating policies and procedures to maintain adequate controls and regulatory compliance.

Communicate with management and staff to integrate goals and activities.

Respond to inquiries within given time frames and established policy.

Maintain appropriate records and provide assigned reports.

Monitor and review accounts for appropriate risk rating to avoid changes by loan review and OCC.

Provide guidance, on‑the‑job training and technical assistance to Commercial Loan Officers 1(s) and 2(s).

Maintain proficiency with laws, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.

Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of experience in related positions.

B.S. or B.A. Degree in a related field preferred.

Specialized banking education and training.

Valid driver’s license required.

Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematic skills.

Proficient interpersonal relationship, communication and sales skills.

Thorough knowledge of all bank commercial products and services.

Working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures which impact commercial services.

Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase. Salary Range:

Minimum USD $92,000.00 per year. Maximum USD $160,592.00 per year.
