Position Summary Respond to resident requests and welcome guests to the community. Provide an overall welcoming environment while ensuring the safety of the community and residents.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Ensure a safe and secure living environment for community residents.

Make periodic rounds throughout the shift, checking doors, and inside and outside of the building.

Respond to emergency call system and contact outside emergency help if needed

Answers incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service.

Deliver newspapers to resident apartments or mailboxes.

Assist lifestyle team with resident activities.

Clean common areas, public bathrooms, windows, floors, and light fixtures as assigned.

Empty trash in all the common areas including the office, kitchen, and resident trash rooms.

Assist in the kitchen with serving meals, washing dishes and other duties, as assigned.

Ensure that storage and housekeeping areas are kept clean and orderly.

Should an emergency evacuation arise, assist with leading residents to safe areas.

Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.

Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations and personnel.

Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

High School diploma or GED

Must be at least 18 years of age

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Microsoft Office programs

Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.

Preferred Qualifications

Willingness to learn and help others

Enjoyment in working with older adults
