Summary Because Seamen’s remains a relatively small Community Bank, it is expected that all employees will contribute above and beyond the duties that are listed in any “job description” or “posting.” In addition to the duties listed below, all employees are expected to perform any function necessary within the scope of expertise and authority to provide the highest level of customer service and to increase the productivity of the Bank. The role of the Loan Servicing Representative is to work with the AVP of Loan Servicing and in the day‑to‑day servicing as it pertains to all types of loans being serviced by the Department, including new loan input, report balancing, file maintenance, escrow processing, etc. Personnel new to the position will receive training and assistance in learning all aspects of the position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reviews daily, weekly and monthly FIS reports related to rate changes, error reports, edit reports, unapplied funds, escrow processing, etc. for accuracy and makes corrections when warranted.

Reviews file maintenance of customer accounts when discrepancies are discovered, including bill maintenance, auto pay tracking and maintenance, etc.

Assists in coordinating tax escrow processing for all loans in which tax escrow is collected in accordance with bank policy & procedures.

Assists all other escrow processing and annual escrow analysis processing (e.g., PMI, Life, Hazard, Flood Insurance, etc.).

Processes name and address changes, and other day‑to‑day file maintenance.

Issues and/or processes payoffs, loan payments, construction advances, HELOC and LOC advances as well as HELOC check reorders.

Prepares and issues Mortgage Discharge documentation, cancellation of notes, and vehicle titles to Borrowers when the loan is paid off.

Assists in monitoring ECOA Credit reporting.

Assists in Payment and Rate change Modifications.

Assists with Year End Processing such as annual statements.

Assists Fannie Mae Loan Delivery.

Inputs and uploads Construction, Residential, Consumer and Commercial Loan files into FIS system and reviews checklists to ensure all documentation is accounted for.

Assists in maintaining construction disbursements.

Assists in updating Hazard and Flood Insurance Policies and expiration.

Additional responsibilities may include

Review, mailing, scanning and filing of Rate Change Notices, etc.

Other miscellaneous day to day duties as instructed by a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications and/or Educational Experience

High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with 2-4 years of bank‑related experience or training.

Basic ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports/statements.

Requisite mathematical skills, communication skills (verbal and written), computer skills, reasoning ability, and problem‑solving capabilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Pay range: $29.89/hour - $37.44/hour
