MOD BIKES – Electric Bike Sales Specialist (Austin, TX – Full time)
We’re looking for someone energetic, warm, organized, and genuinely hungry to succeed. In this role, you’ll guide customers through the full MOD BIKES experience—from the first Howdy, to test rides, to purchase, to checking in after the sale. Sales and hospitality should feel natural to you. You’ll create real relationships, and many of our riders continue to stay connected for years.
About MOD BIKES Founded in 2018 with limited funding and unlimited passion, MOD BIKES started out in a small shop in Austin, Texas with one big goal: to create the ultimate riding experience. What You’ll Do
Help customers in person, over the phone, and by email — with warmth, clarity, and confidence.
Educate customers on our bikes and accessories (and e-bikes in general) so they feel informed and excited.
Lead fun, safe test rides and guide customers through the full buying experience.
Follow up with customers and build long-term relationships — not just one-time sales.
Manage leads and customer notes in our CRM to keep communication accurate and organized.
Keep the showroom and digital workspace clean, stocked, and ready for the next customer.
What You Bring
Strong people skills — you read the room and connect easily.
Naturally upbeat, friendly, and confident speaking with anyone.
Organized and reliable — you follow through every time.
Comfortable multitasking in a lively, hands‑on setting.
Weekend availability (required).
Bonus Points (Not Required)
Sales, retail, hospitality, or customer‑facing experience
Familiarity with electric bikes or cycling
Experience working in fast‑growing small teams
We’ll teach you everything you need to know about e-bikes — but a willingness to learn the product deeply is essential for success.
