Asset Protection (AP) partners with the store Emergency Response Team (ERT) to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. AP protects company profits by mitigating shrinkage risks and preventing, investigating, and resolving theft to ensure merchandise availability.
Asset Protection Pillars
Protect People – support employee and customer safety.
Protect Physical Spaces – protect building and merchandise.
Support Product Accuracy – improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
Responsibilities
Resolve theft, conducting quality apprehensions in high shrinkage areas while adhering to policy and AP guidance.
Identify theft trends using technology, reporting, and surveillance tactics.
Drive a shrinkage reduction culture by implementing action plans and merchandise protection standards.
Escalate and support internal theft investigations through reporting and surveillance systems.
Investigate internal theft by gathering evidence and partnering with AP Leadership and Investigation teams.
Use video systems to monitor theft activity and support investigations.
Leverage RFID data to view merchandise movement and aid item-level investigations.
Maintain the safety of customers, employees, and the store by responding to, escalating, and reporting all security and emergency incidents.
Lead security audits and participate in store meetings and training to advance shrinkage awareness.
Serve as a member of the store Emergency Response Team (ERT) and participate in emergency response training, including First Aid.
Prepare and submit prompt reports for high-profile incidents, recoveries, investigations, violations, and safety incidents.
Testify in court when summoned for criminal or civil cases.
Build cross‑functional partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and local law enforcement.

Pay Range $26.00 - $27.05 per hour. Pay may vary by location, skills, and experience and may include performance‑based incentives and bonuses. Eligibility conditions may apply.
