Job Summary The Executive Chef at Grainger Lake Forest oversees all culinary operations for both Café and Catering services. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality food execution while ensuring strict compliance with safety and sanitation standards and adherence to budgetary goals. The Executive Chef leads, trains, and develops a back‑of‑house team of 10‑15 associates, fostering operational excellence and maintaining a culture of culinary professionalism.
Salary: $105,000 – $108,000 / year
Key Responsibilities
Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account
Plans and creates all menus
Purchases and manages inventory
Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary degree preferred
Three to five years of culinary management experience
High volume production and catering experience is essential
Previous experience managing cost controls
Desire to learn and grow with a top‑notch foodservice company
