We’re looking for Autobody Preppers with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience to join us at Carvana – the fastest‑growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history.
Role Expectations As an Experienced Auto Body Repair Technician, you’ll perform bodywork on multiple panels, including:
Heavy plastic welding
Minor metal pulling
Roof and rocker panel repair
Large area, heavy bodywork (including Bondo repair)

Other Prep Roles (if applicable)
Entry‑Level Prepper (min 1 year professional experience): light bodywork, sanding, buffing, bumper removal/install, single‑panel repair (Bondo), minor plastic welding.
Mid‑Level Prepper (min 3‑5 years experience): bodywork on multiple panels, heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, roof and rocker repair, stud welding, large area heavy bodywork.
Experienced Prepper (min 5 years experience): train other technicians and perform extensive multi‑panel bodywork.
General Qualifications And Requirements
Ability to operate vehicle equipment and tools; lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license; some positions may require an MVR check.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment and tolerate extreme weather conditions.
Use of safety equipment: face shield or goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective gear.
