Job Description Position to fill: Financial technology sales.
Industry: IT Services.
Location: NYC (lower Manhattan), USA / Jersey City, NJ.
Salary range: Open & based on experience.
This position’s purpose is to develop key relationships to locate suitable business opportunities and to develop new client accounts purchasing the company’s solutions and services in the New York/NJ Financial/Capital Market vertical.
Requirements:
5+ years of IT solution sales with at least 3 years of experience selling data management solutions into financial accounts/cap markets space.
Excellent knowledge of capital markets, equities or fixed income securities.
Experience working as a hunter in new business development.
Excellent experience with solution‑selling strategies and tactics.
Strong experience in selling solution services—especially data management/storage and security solutions—through effective cold calling and in‑person visits, fostering a consultative relationship and increased business with clients.
Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills.
Should have met and exceeded weekly, monthly and quarterly goals.
