About the Role A leading professional services organization is launching a new role focused on strengthening client relationships through high‑touch financial coordination. This position serves as the primary liaison for client billing and payment communication, ensuring questions are answered quickly, issues are resolved smoothly, and accounts remain healthy.
Responsibilities
Introduce new clients to billing processes and serve as their ongoing point of contact
Handle inquiries related to invoices, statements, and payment logistics
Conduct proactive check‑ins to ensure clarity and timely follow‑through
Identify early signs of aging accounts and address issues before escalationDocument all interactions and maintain detailed client communication records
Partner with internal teams for invoice adjustments, account questions, payment applications, and trust‑related items
Provide updates, trends, and portfolio summaries to leadership
Participate in workflow improvement efforts as this new function grows
What Makes This Role Unique This is a newly established position with support from the highest levels of leadership, offering the chance to help define processes from the ground up. You will work with major corporate clients in a polished, professional environment and play a key role in shaping how the organization manages financial communication.
Qualifications
3–5 years in a client‑facing role involving account coordination, billing, or financial communication
Professional presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust with sophisticated stakeholders
High attention to detail and excellent follow‑through
Comfort managing a large portfolio with competing priorities
Experience in professional services or legal environments is a plus
Knowledge of billing structures, fee arrangements, or receivables concepts is helpful
Organized, calm under pressure, proactive, and relationship‑oriented
