Become a CHOICE Business Champion
is a volunteer mentoring opportunity that partners a business professional with a high‑school student for a meaningful research and career shadow experience.
The role consists of:
Three 30‑minute phone calls to discuss the student’s interests and field of study.
A half‑day career shadow during which the student observes a corporate environment.
Guidance on researching an existing business to uncover the student’s aptitudes, interview techniques, and conflict‑resolution skills.
Support throughout a 27‑week mentor‑student relationship to help the student transition into college and adulthood.
By participating, you help at‑risk students gain real‑world experience and inspire them to pursue higher education and future careers.
