We are seeking compassionate and motivated
Support Workers
in Rockingham!
Support individuals with complex needs—including sensory, physical, and intellectual disabilities, often with challenging behaviours—living in shared accommodation. Assist with daily living, promote independence, and enable community access while making a real difference every day.
We currently have the following rosters available and you must be available to commit to an
ENTIRE
roster;
Support Worker Roster = 65.75 hours per fortnight
Week 1 =
Tue 1530-0000, Wed 1500-2330, Fri 0630-1500, Sat 1445-2100, Sun 1530-0000
Week 2 = Wed/Fri 1500-2330, Thu 1530-0000
Support Worker Roster = 50 hours per fortnight
Week 1 =
Thu/Fri 1445-2100, Sun 0730-1530
Week 2 = Mon 0630-1500, Thu/Sat 1445-2100, Sun 1500-2330
Support Worker Roster = 66.5 hours per fortnight
Week 1 =
Tue/Wed 1500-2330, Fri 0700-1500
Week 2 = Mon/Tue 0700-1500, Wed/Thu 1500-2330, Sun 0700-1530
Support Worker Roster = 63.5 hours per fortnight
Week 1 =
Mon/Fri 1500-2330, Tue 1500-2200, Sun 0700-1530
Week 2 = Mon 0700-1530, Tue/Fri 1500-2200, Sat 1500-2330
Your Responsibilities
Assist customers with all aspects of daily living—including personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance and household tasks—while consistently promoting dignity and respect.
Communicate and build meaningful connections with customers, adapting interactions to meet each individual’s unique needs.
Encourage and take part in daily activities, including dance classes, swimming, and various social events.
Safely and confidently operate modified vehicles to transport participants to appointments, activities, and community outings.
Follow person-centred plans and assist individuals in working towards their personal life goals.
Maintain accurate records of supports and services through timesheets, case notes, and incident reports.
What we're looking for
A customer-focused individual with a genuine passion for supporting people to live fulfilling lives.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships.
Flexibility and resilience when working with people with complex needs and behaviours.
Have knowledge and experience in Active Support and are willing to learn.
Valid Driver’s Licence (essential).
Cert III in Disability/Individual Support (Disability) – desirable but not essential.
