Parts Counterperson Our company has an opportunity for a friendly and highly driven Parts Counterperson. As a Parts Counterperson, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent service to customers, vendors, and Service Technicians/associates by retrieving and ordering correct parts, helping keep track of inventory, etc.

Job Responsibilities

Determine the needs of customers, technicians, etc. and accurately identify parts accordingly

Create and modify purchase orders

Record warranty parts returned

Create, track, and receive special-order parts on dealership computer system, notifying appropriate Service Advisor, Technician, or customer upon receipt

Process and close open invoices

Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received

Keep records of outside purchases as well as parts received and issued

Attend department meetings as needed

Attend annual Inventory Day

Maintain a professional appearance at all times

Exude strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Maintain honesty and integrity while performing all job duties

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and codes of conduct

Qualifications, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license (you must be insurable).

Must maintain a clean, acceptable, and safe driving record.

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements which include a social media check, a drug screen & physical, a background check, and a Motor Vehicle Report.

Be able to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language.
