We are seeking a

Senior Account Supervisor (SAS)

to join our growing team to help us realize this vision and drive our industry forward. A great SAS for the Edelman Technology team is someone who understands the technology sector, knows how to reach a variety of media audiences, and has an appetite to own and drive the kinds of integrated communications marketing campaigns that showcase the true innovation power of leading global brands.

This SAS will be an integral part of global team supporting one of Edelman’s largest and longest-running global clients. We’re looking for someone to drive out-of-the-box thinking in the era of rapid tech acceleration. The ideal candidate has a proven track record for driving effective launch strategies, planning large‑scale events, adeptly managing teams, and more. The Role

You will develop product‑ and corporate‑centric strategies. You will master Edelman’s various processes/approaches, messaging and narrative development, product launches, brand engagement, social media and influencer campaigns, and stakeholder mapping exercises and be able to support integrated teams in the execution of these processes for clients. You will be responsible for the supervision of account work performed by junior staff, demonstrating the ability to manage up, as well as manage across with peers and mentor account team members. You will be extremely skilled at juggling multiple projects and stakeholders at once while ensuring high‑quality deliverables within fast timelines.

We’re looking for an energetic team player with a desire to work across disciplines to drive projects forward across all aspects of integrated communications. You’re an excellent writer, trend spotter, avid news consumer, and creative brainstormer. Your background includes strong media relationships, proof of strategic thinking leading to strong ROI for brands, and a love of both the operational and cultural management of teams. You will supervise the work of team members, coaching them to master new skills while ensuring excellent quality in everything the team delivers. You’ll also be a go‑to deputy for senior team leads, supporting the development of the most important strategies and projects.

Responsibilities

Provide top‑tier client service, building trust and unlocking growth opportunities

Help lead operational and financial performance of account teams, delivering quality work and effective processes and ensuring that client requests are handled in a timely and strategic fashion

Drive communications plans and launch strategies, including events

Oversee the development of product messaging, talking points, and high‑visibility press materials for launches

Liaise with colleagues across specialties and disciplines to successfully complete integrated projects

Work with team members and clients all around the world with a willingness to flex your schedule to collaborate with other time zones

Research trends to proactively counsel clients on their business opportunities

Demonstrate very advanced writing skills and supervise writing of others

Lead junior staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable, conducting reviews, and overseeing their professional development – and leading by example with your own excellent work quality and strong judgment in client situations

Understanding of and ability to help operationalize the use of AI across the team

Lead new business development, RFP responses, and client acquisitions

Basic Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Public Relations, Communications, English, Journalism, Advertising, Business) or equivalent work experience

5+ years of experience in communications or public relations (agency or in‑house preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

At least one‑two years of experience working in the corporate communications space, preferably with technology clients with experience in AI‑focused comms

Have relationships with tech, business, and lifestyle media (relationships with tech YouTubers, TikTokers, Redditors a plus)

Excellent writing and storytelling skills

Ability to provide sound, level‑appropriate media counsel with all levels of client contacts

Have a deep understanding of and track record of working on product‑focused launch strategies

Have managed the budgets and team on sizable pieces of business to achieve client goals

Have written strategic media plans and a variety of media materials with limited oversight

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Proven account management and team leadership skills

Keen interest and high awareness of current events and pop culture

Solutions‑oriented and collaborative mindset

$80,000-120,000 per year
