Account Analyst – Real Estate Insurance

Salary:

$50,000 – $80,000

Responsibilities

Receive and respond to routine client inquiries, maintain documentation of communications and issue resolutions, referring complex inquiries to more senior staff.

Prepare written correspondence and make telephone calls to underwriters as requested by senior staff.

Review and process policies and endorsements for accuracy of coverage, content, and form completion.

Evaluate proposal policies using the checklist and notify senior staff of missing items or concerns.

Assist in the renewal process by requesting and gathering enrollment, volume, and benefit summary reports.

Help produce employee communications such as newsletters, bulletins, and overhead presentations as requested by senior staff.

Assist with financial reporting for renewals by gathering and compiling client details.

Execute requested changes on policies.

Periodically assist in loss‑run requests.

Extend expiring binders as requested by senior staff.

Respond to and fulfill requirements generated by the Renewal Assistance Program report, updating the report when tasks are completed.

Assist in the upkeep of carrier product information.

Enter data into the data management system and audit for accuracy, completeness, & conformity to established procedures.

Maintain and keep records of clients.

Compile preliminary numbers for experience modification and order worksheets.

Issue and process client invoicing.

Assist in the research of invoice and billing errors.

Acquire an understanding of insurance brokerage business and account servicing processes.

Research industry trends and governmental regulations.

Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.

Up to three years of client services experience.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Understanding of industry trends and governmental regulations.

Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed.

Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings, including industry training sessions.

Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, protecting confidentiality of client and company information.

Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.

Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft.

Ability to use office equipment such as computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, facsimile machine.

Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods.

Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.

Legally able to work in the United States.
