Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Are you detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment? We are hiring a Customer Service Representative to support plant operations and deliver excellent customer experiences through phone, chat, and email.

This role combines customer service, order processing, and clerical support, making it ideal for candidates with office or call center experience who thrive in a fast-paced, virtual setting.

Available Shifts

Open: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Mid: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Close: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

(Must be flexible to work assigned shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.)

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, with occasional chat and email support

Provide accurate, professional responses to customer questions and concerns

Offer guidance and troubleshooting support for lawn and garden products

Resolve customer complaints efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary

Process customer orders, returns, and warranty claims

Enter and confirm customer orders accurately

Use Salesforce (CRM) to document interactions, track resolutions, and identify service trends

Perform clerical and administrative duties, including:

Maintaining records and reports

Inventory documentation

Accounts Payable support

Assist with office operations and serve as backup support for dispatching and payroll when needed

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

Meet or exceed performance metrics such as response time and customer satisfaction

Follow all company policies and data compliance guidelines

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or remote environment

2-4 years of office or administrative experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote setting

Proficiency with Windows, Outlook, and keyboarding

Ability to calculate basic fractions and percentages

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system

Familiarity with Google Suite applications

Interest or knowledge in lawn and garden products

Proven success working in a work-from-home environment
