What will you be doing in this role?

Build member relationships by providing exceptional service, exceeding expectations, and anticipating needs.

Interact with members to provide information related to all UMCU products and services.

Respond to inquiries, questions and requests about products and services.

Proactively resolve concerns and view member concerns as opportunities to gain respect and repeat business.

Evaluate risks to members or UMCU when providing services.

Serve as a credit union representative, spokesperson or events coordinator in the university community on and off campus.

Educate members on UMCU product features and benefits and provide available options.

Assist members with account information and transactions, including ACH, Visa disputes, card requests and troubleshooting.

Use technology to provide technical support and troubleshoot electronic services such as online banking, mobile app and third party solutions.

Access remote computer to assist or diagnose problems.

Assist with a variety of account‑related transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cashier’s checks, loan and new account inquiries.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate information as needed.

Excellent problem solving skills.

Professional appearance and attitude; dependable, punctual and constant awareness of member service.

Technology proficiency and ability to work with multiple systems.

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or two or more years of experience.
