Job Description Astra Health West is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Clerk to support our healthcare operations team. This role is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate patient and administrative data in our electronic systems while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter and update patient, scheduling, and administrative data

Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information

Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Organize digital records and ensure data accuracy

Communicate with internal teams to verify or correct information

Meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks in a remote environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry software

Ability to type efficiently and accurately

Reliable internet connection and personal computer

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred (but not required):

Prior data entry or healthcare experience

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
