CDL Class A Driver – Dedicated Run
We are now accepting applications for experienced CDL Class A Drivers to run dedicated routes from Dalton, GA to Stevensville, MD and Akron, OH. If you’re a dependable driver looking for more home time, great benefits, well-maintained equipment, and a high-energy professional team, we want to hear from you!
Home Terminal: Dalton, GA
Routes Include:
Dalton, GA → Stevensville, MD (approx. 1,340 miles round trip)
Dalton, GA → Akron, OH (approx. 1,200 miles round trip)
Equipment: Sleeper Cab Tractor – well-maintained with 24‑hour roadside assistance
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL
Valid DOT Medical Certificate (minimum 1 year remaining)
Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience and ability to pass a road test
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
Clean Motor Vehicle Record and PSP (no excessive safety violations)
Experience operating hand trucks and manual pallet jacks
Strong customer service and professional communication skills
Reliable, energetic, and a strong team player
Duties and Responsibilities
Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled routes
Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections; report any mechanical issues
Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle between terminals
Keep the truck clean and organized
Represent the company professionally in all interactions with clients and the public
Adhere to all DOT and company policies
Utilize company technology for paperless deliveries, including dual‑facing cameras and assigned devices
Schedule Complete 2 round trips per week – only 2 nights away from home
Two trips weekly qualify for full‑time status
Optional additional trip available (miles over 3,000 earn $0.75 per mile)
Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay: $0.55 per mile
Health Insurance: Company covers 50% of employee premium
