Pay Range: $15.00 - $15.60 per hour
As a Customer Service Associate, you combine top‑notch customer service skills with genuine care for people to help customers feel comfortable while shopping at Lowe’s. This is an excellent role for those who want to engage with customers and help them solve their home‑improvement challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
Down‑stock merchandise by replenishing empty shelf areas.
Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
Cross‑train in other store areas to deliver the best service.
Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
Ability to stand, sit, and perform other activities required for the role for extended periods.
Minimum lift of 25 lbs unassisted or >25 lbs with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months retail and/or customer service experience.
Bi‑lingual skills.
Certification in trade related to a department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials).
