Your Day at Lowe's Pro Sales Specialists are active, moving throughout the store or garden center, answering phones, and talking to Pro customers. Most of your day will involve communicating with Pro customers, discussing project needs, and helping them solve challenges.

Key Responsibilities Understand the Pro business to assess customer needs.

Assist customers with locating, demonstrating, selecting, quoting, and ordering merchandise.

Order products through Lowe's Pro Supply Fulfillment and Delivery network.

Promote and explain service, brand, and value benefits of using the network.

Build customer relationships and streamline processes using CRM.

Help customers sign up for Pro rewards, MVPs Pro partnership program, Pro Credit solutions, and the Pro wallet.

Communicate product, stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information.

Cross-train in other store areas and learn what Pros are buying across the store.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience.

1‑2 years sales experience, able to identify and sell products based on customer needs.

1‑2 years customer service experience, including greeting, assisting with locating products, answering phones, building relationships, and resolving issues.

Physical ability to sit, bend, stand, move around the store, and lift items up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.

Proficiency with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.

Obtain sales‑related licensure or registration if required by state law.

Preferred Qualifications 1‑2 years experience in sales or customer service with required sales goals or metrics.

Experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including special sales orders.

Professional certification related to the department being considered.

Bi‑lingual skills.

Travel Requirements This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

Working Conditions Environmental factors vary by location. You may work in inside or outside conditions, exposing you to extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty environments. Noise may be constant or intermittent. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
