Position Description Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at the Bloomfield, CT location. Scheduling is Sunday‑Sunday with two consecutive days off. Start times are AM and PM; dispatch is available to support your route. Pay is $1,390 weekly guarantee plus mileage and stop bonuses.
Solo Miles Pay: $0.80 per mile with 1,000 miles per week
Solo Stops Pay: $21.63 per stop with five stops per week
Paid training provided
Route: Local Home Daily across New England (CT, NH, VT, RI, ME, MA, PA, NY)
Equipment: Day cab with manual pallet jack & lift gate; trailers include Reefer 48' & 58', 28' pup, and 26' straight truck
Freight: Touch – groceries

Paid personal time off starts day one (80 hours accrued in first year); unused PTO is paid out at your hourly rate

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and DOT physical
Pass Ryder road test
Class A CDL with required endorsements
Class A experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Capability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by the customer
Perform other duties as assigned
