The Training Specialist will be a key contributor within the U.S. & Bermuda Training and Development team, supporting technical underwriting and claims training initiatives across Programs & Solutions and Wholesale & Specialty. This role focuses on enhancing employee capabilities through innovative learning solutions and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, creative, proactive, and passionate about employee development.
Responsibilities
Manage administrative functions for training programs across the U.S. & Bermuda region
Under the general direction of leadership, design, develop and deliver learning programs – including e-learning-virtual, and instructor-led formats
Assist in aligning training initiatives with department and company goals
Develop and analyze post-training participant surveys to measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on training matters
Solicit feedback from key departmental stakeholders and recommend actions for program improvement
Audit and analyze performance of trainees/employees to measure success in the classroom and identify training opportunities
Provide input/feedback to other Training Department staff
Collaborate with Talent Development colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment in technical training
Serve as the team’s digital learning specialist, leveraging tools such as Synthesia and AI-driven platforms to enhance training delivery
Build a cross‑functional request portal to intake and triage training requests
Maintain knowledge of the training industry through professional development and industry journals
Champion a culture of continuous improvement in learning and development practices
Skills, Knowledge and Experience The successful candidate will have:
Experience in talent development within a fast‑paced business environment
Strong background in training program administration with some design and facilitation capabilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
Analytical skills to interpret data and present actionable insights
Good organizational and time management abilities
High levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team‑based work
Ability to travel up to 25%
