Value Added Solutions Sales Specialist (West) This role requires up to 70% travel within the assigned district, which includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington and Utah.

Position Summary Responsible for driving all Value Added Solutions (VAS) sales by partnering with district teammates to ensure customer satisfaction; soliciting new business through personal effort and referrals; enhancing personal skills in solutions focus areas; developing productive relationships with customers, vendors and Benco teammates; serving as a consultant in helping dentists grow their practices; leading assigned territory representatives and equipment specialists to accomplish mutual sales goals.

Responsibilities

Achieve VAS sales goals: create and meet a sales plan that grows VAS within the assigned district, maintain existing business, add new business by prospecting VAS, and achieve suggested gross‑profit increase.

Serve as the VAS expert in the district, partnering with and educating the Benco Sales Team about all VAS offerings and their impact on practice profitability.

Facilitate customer satisfaction throughout the VAS sales process, ensuring customers are delighted with the VAS provided by Benco.

Actively seek new business by collaborating with assigned territory representatives and equipment specialists to prospect, close sales, and uncover new opportunities via referrals and testimonials.

Manage the VAS pipeline, attending and participating regularly in regional and district meetings and calls, engaging with TRs/ESs and other required conversations.

Maintain product knowledge by educating customers on new solutions products and industry trends, staying self‑educated and becoming an expert in continuous learning.

Communicate with dentists and dental staff as true business partners, helping them achieve goals and grow profits.

Support regional teammates and inside support staff by addressing customer or internal problems with courtesy, concern, and respect.

Collaborate with solutions teammates and partners to gain knowledge on new offerings and capabilities.

Continuously grow personally and professionally, attend sales meetings, understand the dental environment, and monitor competitor activity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a business or related field

1–3 years of dental/medical sales experience or equivalent

Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record
