Pay Range Base pay: $33.20/hr. (Entry). Pay increases with experience: 2 years - $35.19/hr, 4 years - $37.30/hr, 6 years - $39.54/hr, 8 years - $41.91/hr, 10 years - $44.42/hr, 12 years - $47.09/hr.
To Qualify, You Must Have
At least one full year of experience working in a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) capacity for an agency whose primary responsibility is responding to calls for service in the community.
A current Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certificate as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) or successfully passed the Utah POST waiver exam (if you are an out-of-state candidate).
