Customer Service Representative Lead – Dacotah Bank
As a Customer Service Representative Lead, you connect with our customers to build trusted relationships and help them achieve their financial goals. You will assist customers with general banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and inquiries. Additionally, you will open and maintain deposit accounts for consumers and businesses and lead the Retail team in partnership with the Market Retail Leader.
Essential Functions
Support and Leadership: Assist with scheduling and supervision of the Customer Service Representative team, coach and provide feedback, facilitate training, and host morning huddles.
World Class Customer Service: Greet customers promptly, demonstrate Customer Experience behaviors, maintain confidentiality, and process requests accurately and efficiently.
Develop Customer Relationships: Use the CRM tool to recommend relevant products, enhancing the customer experience.
Manage Retail Transactions: Accept deposits, verify cash, process checks, manage cash drawer balances, and handle loan payments and safe deposit box transactions.
Deposit Products & Services: Open/close deposit accounts including consumer, business, retirement, estate, funeral trusts, and safety deposit boxes.
Product Access: Review and recommend additional bank products, identify cross‑sell opportunities, and maintain profitable customer relationships.
Other Functions
Maintain education and professional expertise on bank products and complete required quarterly training.
Participate in quarterly Retail Goal discussions and prioritize growth and development.
Support co‑workers with customer inquiries or problems.
Actively participate in the community.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate in person, over the phone, and through electronic correspondence.
Cash handling, customer service, sales, and/or banking experience preferred.
Commitment to professional and ethical behavior.
Self‑motivated with aptitude to learn software applications relevant to the position.
Detail-oriented and accurate.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma/GED required; Associate degree in a business‑related field preferred.
