What You Will Do

Assist the organizational maintainer with required maintenance and work beyond the field maintenance scope.

Provide field maintenance support to Lower Tier Air Missile Defense Systems (LTAMDS).

Diagnose sustainment‑level problems and offer technical assistance.

Fault isolate components to line‑replaceable units and troubleshoot faults outside organizational capacity.

Repair selected items with provided tools and equipment.

Perform all designated Field Support Repair tasks using FSR tools and test equipment.

Collect data for communication with sustainment, depot, and OEM maintenance personnel on unresolved faults.

Execute generalized procedures guided by specific technical manuals.

Assist in data collection/transmission to depot or prime contractor facilities after repairs.

Analyze and interpret data per defined procedures and guidelines.

Remain available to support data collection or transmission to other locations.

Be prepared to deploy with U.S. military units, including deployments outside the continental U.S. and to combat theaters.

Serve as a member of the Battalion Technical Assistance Team and respond to worldwide deployments.

Qualifications you must have

At least two years of depot forward maintenance experience.

Contractor Logistics School qualified, or graduate of the U.S. Army Patriot Intermediate Maintenance School, or radar repairer (94S) field experience, or five years of Patriot Field Engineering experience with depot‑forward maintenance fault isolation.

Knowledge and experience with test measurement diagnostic equipment: torque wrench, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, digital analyzers.

Understanding and working knowledge of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).

Experience with sustainment practices, techniques, and standards.

Participation in on‑the‑job training programs and assistance in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards.

Completion of one of the following courses: U.S. Army Patriot System repairer Course for MOS 27X, 35S, 94S, 948D(6D) or an equivalent course under the U.S. Army Air Defense School or the Patriot Missile System Contractor.

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications we prefer

General knowledge of the IBCS C2 Node (EOC) and interface, Maintainer Monitoring Modules (M3) and related functions.

Ability to use TDME for further fault isolation.

Understanding of military communications systems and encryption devices.

Knowledge of GPS and possession of CompTIA Network+ certification.

Data offloading skills.

Linux experience.

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree with four years of related experience.

Associate’s Degree with eight years of experience.

High‑school diploma or GED with twelve years of related experience.

Salary range: USD 82,000 – 164,000. Salary will be based on experience, location, education, training, key skills, and role.
