We are seeking an
experienced Parts Front Sales Counterperson
to join our fast‑paced, customer‑focused dealership team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, delivers exceptional service, and has a proven track record of success in automotive parts sales.
Responsibilities
Assist retail and wholesale customers at the parts counter with accuracy, professionalism, and urgency
Look up and source parts using GM‑specific software and electronic parts catalogs
Accurately process parts invoices, special orders, returns, and warranty‑related items
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of GM parts, accessories, and current promotions
Communicate effectively with the service department to ensure timely parts delivery
Support inventory control, bin checks, and stock organization
Provide excellent customer service while maximizing sales opportunities
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive parts counterperson (front counter experience required)
Proficient with Dealertrack DMS and GM software/systems
Strong multitasking ability in a high‑volume environment
Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and dependable
Proven sales performance within a dealership parts department
Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
