Salary Range: $13.00 To $14.00 Hourly
We are a Home2 Suites by Hilton located in North Las Vegas looking to have an energetic and motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and a flexible schedule join our team.
Previous work experience in hospitality highly preferred. As the breakfast ambassador you will be the first smiling face many guest see during their stay with us. Your breakfast ambassador responsibilities will include preparing and serving the daily breakfast, greeting each guest and ensuring the guests’ are comfortable with their accommodations. The laundry responsibilities will include washing, organizing, and supplying the hotel linen to the housekeeping department. This position reports to the operations manager and assistant general manager. Breakfast Responsibilities:
Interacts with guests in a friendly and cheerful manner. Sets up breakfast according to operational policies and standards and in compliance with local health department’s standards and required by brand standards. Stocks coffee, juice and milk machines or dispensers. Takes weekly inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for food order. Prepares foods such as fresh fruit, coffee and juices from concentrates. Sets up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products. Prepares and sets up hot food items. Sets out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc. Clears and cleans tables as they are vacated, and wipes up spills. Restocks items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day. Washes serving equipment and returns to storage. Returns reusable food supplies to storage. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Ability to maintain order, organization and attention to detail. Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees. Specific Job Requirements
Must be able to obtain a SNHD Food Handlers Card. Must be able to stand on feet for length of shift. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs several times during shift. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Must be able to work with and handle laundry chemicals and detergents Must be fluent in English.
