Salary:

$61,008 – $64,000, plus full benefits and travel/professional development funds.

Responsibilities

Teaching (50%): Primary instructor of 3 undergraduate pharmacy courses per academic year (e.g., Drugstore Science, Generation Rx, Cosmetic Science, Drugs that Changed the World, Addicting Drugs). May teach in PharmD curriculum. Courses can be in‑person, distance‑based, or hybrid. Additional teaching duties as assigned.

Research (20%): Lead research projects on teaching/learning, participate in college research teams and practice sites, mentor students/trainees.

Service & Professional Development (10%): Committee work in the College of Pharmacy, other professional association activities, expand teaching skills, develop pedagogical strategies, contribute to evidence base. Opportunity to earn a Teaching Certificate.

Clinical Precepting (up to 20%): For pharmacists, precept clinical sites; for non‑pharmacists, adjusted accordingly with the mentoring team.

Required Qualifications

Doctoral Degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.

Knowledge of medicine science and contemporary drug issues.

Strong communication skills in learning environments.

Organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work with multiple stakeholders concurrently.

Motivation to learn and apply evidence‑based teaching and learning strategies.
