About the Position
The Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for the success and viability of the Golf Operation. The right candidate will have a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality to our Members & Guests, day in and day out.
Candidates must be highly motivated, hard‑working and team players and will have a hospitality‑first mindset. They must also possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

The General Manager

Candidate Qualifications Education & Background
Minimum of two years’ experience at a high‑end private club of similar size and stature preferred.
A bachelor’s degree from a four‑year university or college is preferred, but not required.
A member of the PGA of America in good standing, or actively working towards PGA membership.
Knowledge, Skills & Traits
Ability to hold oneself and teammates accountable to clearly defined expectations.
Commitment to consistency and high standards in a fast‑paced, luxury environment.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage members and guests professionally and thoughtfully.
Positive, proactive attitude paired with a strong work ethic.

High attention to detail in all aspects of operation.
Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.

Job Duties Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support the day‑to‑day execution of golf operations to ensure a smooth and efficient member and guest experience.
Provide high‑level customer service that meets and exceeds the Pine Canyon standards of excellence.
Help supervise outside services and golf operations staff, modeling Pine Canyon’s standards of excellence.
Perform starter duties, including tee time management, player coordination, and clear communication of course information.
Support pace‑of‑play initiatives through active monitoring and engagement with players.
Support execution of the tournament program, including cart staging, range preparation, and event setup.
Assist with handicap administration, tournament scoring, and preparation of event materials.
Assist with receiving, tagging, merchandising, and inventory management within the Golf Shop when needed.
Perform basic club repair services, including regripping and minor equipment adjustments.
Support junior camps, ladies’ clinics, and member engagement programs as assigned.
Contribute creative ideas to enhance member programming and overall experience.
Proficiency with Pace Technology (GPS), Microsoft Office, JONAS POS, Whoosh.
Maintain a visible professional presence throughout the clubhouse, practice area, and golf course.
Uphold and enforce all club policies, dress code expectations, and safety standards.
Engage in ongoing professional development.
Compensation & Benefits Start Date: Mid‑May 2026 (can be flexible depending on situation) End Date: Mid‑October 2026
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $22 / Hour (40 Hours Per Week)
Additional Compensation Opportunities: Grip Commissions, end‑of‑season Bonus

Housing provided ($100 per pay period deduction)
Playing and practicing privileges (when available)
