Intake Specialist
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented Intake Specialist to join our team. The Intake Specialist will provide orientation and support to individuals seeking assistance from Goodwill to overcome barriers to employment and will fulfill data entry and reporting duties for the Opportunity Center.

Job Type Full‑time, Non‑Exempt
Responsibilities
Facilitate orientation for new members at the Opportunity Center.
Provide outstanding customer service to prospective/new members and clients.
Inform new members and clients about upcoming workshops and opportunities following orientation to ensure engagement prior to first appointment with a Career Coach.
Ensure that new Opportunity Center members submit completed intake forms and Self‑Sufficiency Matrix following orientation.
Create client records through timely data entry in Salesforce/GoodData for new Opportunity Center members utilizing intake forms and Self‑Sufficiency Matrix.
Assist Career Coaches with follow‑up calls.
Prepare information and enter data for programs.
Provide case note updates in Salesforce/GoodData for clients on behalf of Career Coaches.
Prepare program reports and work closely with the Director of Compliance to ensure data accuracy and SOP compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree or one year of work experience in lieu of a college degree in workforce development/social services environments is preferred.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
Strong oral and written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of diverse individuals.
Self‑motivated with the capacity to consistently work with a high volume of clients.
Detail‑oriented with the ability to set priorities, plan, coordinate, and work independently.
Physical Demands
This job requires primarily sedentary work. It may involve occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, frequent repetitive motions, and handling occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.
Occasional travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location.
