Leasing Associate – Floating Leasing Associate
RPM Living is hiring a Leasing Associate. This role focuses on leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations. The successful candidate will handle lease signings, act as a landlord for property owners, and contribute to resident satisfaction and retention.

Position Summary The Floating Leasing Associate is responsible for leasing activities, marketing strategies, and resident relationship management. Tasks include handling leasing processes, working with leasing software, and enforcing fair housing requirements.
Responsibilities
Respond to telephone and internet inquiries from residents and prospects to schedule virtual, self‑guided, and in‑person tours.
Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software; assist with applications and deposits.
Maintain an updated availability report, process applications with credit checks and rental history verification, and submit them for processing.
Collaborate with Community Manager for applicant approval and follow‑up.
Show apartments, close sales, prepare units for move‑ins, obtain new residents’ signatures, and provide community orientation.
Assist in maintaining an active social media presence for the property to enhance visibility and engagement.
Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding promptly to complaints and service requests, resolving issues appropriately.
Conduct all functions necessary to close the sale, including appointment setting, lead generation, tour management, and showroom maintenance.
Utilize marketing strategies within marketing budget and plan constraints, such as competitive rents, referrals, promotions, and outreach.
Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition.
Secure resident retention through planning resident functions and attending after‑hours events as needed.
Complete all required paperwork for lease generation, move‑in, check‑out, and peak periods in a timely manner.
Attend weekly and daily goal‑setting meetings as appropriate.
Collaborate with the property maintenance team to ensure prompt responses and completion of resident service requests in line with company standards.
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or 6–12 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
Valid driver’s license—required.
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
May be required to sit for extended periods at a desk.
May be required to climb stairs.
Must be able to read documents, computer screens, and data.
Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person, over the phone, or via computer.
May occasionally be required to lift or carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to use mobile devices and applications for work‑related tasks.
Work Environment
The role is based on‑site, primarily in an office setting, with occasional outdoor exposure.
The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noise, and distractions.
Employment Conditions Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and possession of a valid driver’s license.
