Sirius Staffing is hiring a full-time
Packaging/Forklift Operator in Blair, NE.
This role supports daily warehouse operations—forklift operation, material handling, packaging, shipping, and receiving, helping to maintain supply chain efficiency. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in a fast‑paced environment, safely operate machinery, and have a valid driver’s license.
Schedule:
12-hour rotating day shift, 7a‑7p, working 2 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off (which includes some weekends and holidays)
The first week of training, M‑F 7:00‑4:30.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials and products
Perform packaging tasks such as sorting, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counting
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment
Adhere to all safety protocols and perform quality assurance checks
Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize the flow of materials and products
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s license
Prior experience operating forklifts and other material‑handling equipment in a warehouse setting
Demonstrated skills in warehouse operations, including housekeeping, load/unload, logistics, and shipping/receiving
Ability to work efficiently and pay close attention to detail
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
Must be able to understand and follow forklift safety requirements and successfully pass the site’s forklift certification test
