A day in the life of a Loan Assistant Your day will be all about keeping the loan process running smoothly. You’ll review loan files to make sure all the documents are in order, pull credit reports, check on insurance for collateral, and help schedule loan closings. You’ll also spend time chatting with customers—answering their questions, following up on payments, or just keeping them in the loop. On the back end, you’ll fund loans, send paperwork to title companies, and scan important documents to keep everything organized.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate’s degree in office administration preferred
3+ years of banking or loan administration experience
Must demonstrate our core values of Integrity, Value, Service Excellence, & Teamwork.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Must be able to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask
Detail-oriented focus
Organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently to get projects/assignments done
Ability to effectively work with supervisor
Work Schedule This position is full time and requires 40 hours each week with work generally being completed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Occasional evenings and working a Saturday rotation may be necessary. Minimal traveling will occur for occasional seminars.
